TANDOORI DESCRIPTION Tandoor is an oven made from clay, a simple artifact which does many things like bake bread or roast lamb and chicken. All preparations cooked in the tandoor are marinated in yogurt together with a special blend of fresh spices and herbs to suit each variety of preparation. The tandoor is kept at high temperature with charcoal which heats its wall and this heat radiated together with smoldering charcoal does the cooking. This process seals in the goodness and the smoldering charcoal blends the food into a special flavor. |
