Fall Foliage Tour

Location:	Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York

The lunch outing to Culinary Institute of America with a total of 22 participants took place on October 14, 2006.  The Institute is located at Hyde Park, Upstate New York by the side of the Hudson River.  The drive to the Institute was a long one but the beautiful foliage scenery of the early fall presented a cheerful and pleasant background for the trip.  Though done by the students, the food was comparable to the cooking of chefs.  After lunch, the participants wandered around the beautiful campus and the food fair held in the garden and departed the Institute at around 4.00 p.m. Ten of the participants continued the day’s activity with a big dinner at Flushing, Queens.
