 Dinner Meeting 

Date:October 14, 2005 (Friday)
Location:The Golden Unicorn Restaurant, Chinatown, New York City

The Committee
Vice-President Eddie Cheung, President Simon Lo and Secretary David Wan
Proceedings:
  • A total number of 23 persons attended the dinner gathering with 2 free dinner raffle for the evening.
  • The President welcomed members and their wives / friends to the meeting.  He gave a detailed account of the following schemes devised to help members and Wah Yan students and to improve the liaison between the Committee and members
    1. Yellow Page Professional Guide of Members.
    2. College Guide.
    3. Scheme to take care of Wah Yan freshmen, and
    4. Formation of Alumni sub-teams..
  • The Secretary took his turn to introduce the tentative activity program for the next 12 months:
    1. Fall foliage trip (proposed date: 10/29/05)
    2. Buffet dinner (proposed date: 12/10/05)
    3. Chinese New Year dinner (proposed date: 2/18/06)
    4. Cherry blossom trip (proposed date: 4/15/06)
    5. General meeting (proposed date: 6/10/06)
    6. Camping (proposed date: 6/24/06)
    7. International conference (proposed date: 8/16/06)
  • Fall Foliage Trip would take place on 10/29/05 and the venue would be Bear Mountain, NY.
