August 18 (Monday) (day 1 pictures)
- Pick up from JFK airport (Martin Wong)
- Check in at Holiday Inn Downtown, 138 Lafayette Street, New York, NY 10013
- Lower Manhattan “walking” tour (Man-Wai Lau) including Battery Park, Museum of Native Americans, Wall Street, Trinity Church, Ground Zero, South Street Seaport, Chinatown etc. and the law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersbam & Taft
- Dinner with alumni (Martin Wong & Man-Wai Lau)
- Accommodation: Holiday Inn Downtown
August 19 (Tuesday) (day 2 pictures)
- New York City bus tour (Dr. Ivan Lee & Martin Wong) - Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, Wall Street, Times Square, World Trade Center remnants, Central Park, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center, Broadway areas, Soho, Chinatown, Fifth Avenue shopping areas, St. Patrick's cathedral.
- Dinner with alumni (Dr. Ivan Lee & Martin Wong)
- Accommodation: Holiday Inn Downtown
August 20 (Wednesday) (day 3 pictures)
- Museum tours (Man-Wai Lau) including Metropolitan Museum of Arts, American Museum of Natural History, Central Park area
- Dinner with alumni, possibly at Carnegie Deli (Man-Wai Lau) in theater district
- Broadway show 8:00 p.m. "Phantom of the Opera" and Times Square at night (Man-Wai Lau)
- Accommodation: Holiday Inn Downtown
August 21 (Thursday) (day 4 pictures)
- Trip to New Jersey (David Wan & Timothy Leung) with visits to Bristol-Myers Squibb research laboratory (Dr. Patrick Lam) and Princeton University
- Dinner with alumni (David Wan & others)
- Accommodation: Holiday Inn Downtown
August 22 (Friday) (day 5 pictures)
- Full day with young alumni (Alan Lui & Timothy Leung) with morning visits to Columbia University, St. John the Divine Cathedral, etc. and afternoon shopping in midtown (NBA Store etc.) and downtown in SoHo.
- Dinner with young alumni (Simon Mok, Derek Cheung, Alan Lui, Timothy Leung & others)
- Accommodation: Holiday Inn Downtown
August 23 (Saturday) (day 6 pictures)
- Two-day tour of Washington D.C. (accompanied by Man-Wai Lau) - White House (no inside tour due to security), Congress, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Kennedy Center, Smithsonians
- On the way, visit Philadelphia - Independence Halls, Baltimore Harbor, Virginia Cavern etc.
- Accommodation: Tour-designated hotel in Washington D.C.
August 24 (Sunday) (day 7 pictures)
- Concluding 2-day tour of Washington D.C.
- Dinner with alumni (James Wong)
- Accommodation: with James Wong in Westchester County
August 25 (Monday) (day 8 pictures)
- Circle Line Cruise of Manhattan Island (Peter Lau & James Wong)
- A visit to the Chinese-language Radio Station AM1480 and a radio interview of the ambassadors (Leo Wan)
- Farewell dinner with members of U. S. Eastern Alumni Association at Holiday Inn Downtown
- Accommodation: with Dr. Lap-Yan Cheng in Long Island
August 26 (Tuesday) (day 9 pictures)
- Visit to Brookhaven National Laboratory in Long Island (Dr. Lap-Yan Cheng)
- Lunch with alumni (Dr. Lap-Yan Cheng and others)
- Transport to JFK airport (Dr. Lap-Yan Cheng) for return journey to Hong Kong
